Afternoon all. Just wanted to share this lovely feedback from a visitor to our site last week - how nice?
As far back as possible to record, we know that peoples attitudes towards sex and sexuality have taken many turns. From the liberal practices of ancient Rome, the emotionally rigid dictum of Victorian England, to where we are now... Which I'm thinking feels midway between the two?
Through chats with customers, research online and chatting with friends over glasses of wine, there's no doubt that we all have different tastes in practices in the bedroom. One question often asked 'Does that make us wrong wanting to do that?' is always answered by us with 'Of course it's alright as long as you're both consenting adults and you're not harming yourselves or anyone else emotionally or physically.'
But it's a great shame that many people still feel ill at ease when considering sex toys to use either solo or with their partner, who then make uninformed choices or keep it a hidden secret. How sad also that when looking to purchase said items, people must either visit a darkened shop with seedy staff or some tacky website with vulgar images!
Going back to the feedback above, it's truly wonderful that someone has taken the time to share the fact that they GET what Sinsins Boutique of Love is about - Taking away the shame, selling beautiful gifts applauding the sensual, passionate, sexual, romantic side of love life with decorum and integrity. Don't worry they're not the first, we truly do hear fantastic comments from customers all the time, who consider our boutique as a 'breath of fresh air' However, it is the first written feedback on our website, which as you can imagine has taken months of work... So we are really, really chuffed!
What are your thoughts about modern attitudes to sexuality? Have we got it right? Are there things that could be changed? Have you made any secret purchases? Do feel free to share your thoughts, share this article and share the love!
Off for a cuppa... Very best wishes,
LONG LIVE LOVE
